Friday, December 1, 2006 brought 12 inches of snow to the Milwaukee Area, kids had a snow day at school, but the Social Committee made the decision that the show must go on. The Milwaukee Society of Plastics Engineers held our Annual Christmas Party at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. 

A special evening with Festive Christmas Decorations, table settings, beautiful plants and roses was shared by all. There is something special in the air when you catch the Holiday Spirit and share good conversations with friends and colleagues. Special thanks go to Lori Baez for her terrific flair for buying gifts and packaging them just so. All the gifts were pink and included a mosaic candle and pin to benefit the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. 

Betsy Ignasiak and the entire staff at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel did an outstanding job. We enjoyed a delicious “Surf and Turf” dinner with all the trimmings. The Class of ’62 Band entertained us with many great songs. The mood was upbeat all night long which was evident by number of people that danced the night away. 

The Milwaukee SPE Section wishes to thank the many fine sponsors for the beautiful door prizes that were given out to the ladies. We appreciate your continued support. Reserve December 7, 2007 on your calendar for next year’s Christmas Party. This is one you don’t want to miss.
